February 2011 - Louise Braverman, Architect
- By admin
Louise Braverman joined the AIANY Chapter panel discussion about the relationship between architects and clients during the design and construction process. The context of the panel was based on Karen A. Frank and Teresa von Sommaruga Howard’s book, Design through Dialogue: A Guide for Architects and Clients, in which several of our projects were featured. Louise Braverman and Susan Jacobson, the former curator of the Musuem at the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale, New York, had a lively conversation about their working relationship.

Our firm is one of the burgeoning group of small studios that are going global. Claire Wilson discusses how we collaborate on an ongoing basis with local partners in both Portugal and Africa to produce excellent results. As Louise says, “We work on Skype, have meetings, view drawings, and share information every week.” Electronic communication is key to designing and implementing international work.
